Acupuncture Care

I studied Acupuncture at the International College of Oriental Medicine earning a BSc (Hons) degree. I am a fully certified and insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and  follow their Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics and Safe Practice.

 

I incorporate Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element and Classical Stems and Branches theory into my diagnostic and acupuncture treatments, and use a combination of acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion and cupping as needed, I may also make lifestyle and dietary suggestions.

After experiencing the benefits of Acupuncture for pain relief first hand, I knew I had found something special. I have a lifetime of interest in healthcare and instinctively value the whole-person (holistic) approach rather than looking at fragmented parts of a person or disease.

I am passionate about Chinese medicine, for myself, my family and my patients.  I am a good listener and encourage my clients to talk about what’s going on for them. As a therapist, my wish is for people to take an active interest in their own health and to learn what they can do to support themselves and improve their own mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.
